A glass sculpture of a person, designed in the 1960's by Erik Höglund and produced by Boda glassworks, Sweden.

Erik Höglund is one of Sweden's most celebrated glass designers, and his popularity reached a sensational peak during the 1960's, around the time of this figure's creation. This seemingly naive character is distinctly Höglund's work, who took inspiration from simple shapes and primordial forms.

This sculpture is part of a series which includes figures and animals of different shapes, sizes and colours. The lilac colour is particularly rare.
