Erik Höglund Large Paperweight

An abstract, large paperweight by Erik Höglund for Boda, Sweden.

This heavy, hand-formed object is a highly simplistic shape which conveys the image of a figure. 

Höglund designed this series of paperweights in the mid 1950's. The collection consisted of 'people' in varying shapes and sizes, which were produced for just a short time making them highly collectible.
