Stig Lindberg "Pineapple" Unique Miniature Vase
This miniature vase was designed by renowned eccentric Stig Lindberg and embodies the quirkiness and playfulness so associated with the much-loved Scandinavian artist.
Produced in the art studio of Sweden's foremost ceramics manufacturer, Gustavsberg, in 1969, the vase is part of a charming series of unique handmade objects which feature applied underglaze surface patterns.
The objects oval form and impressed triangular pattern are reminiscent of a pineapple, particularly when paired with the distinctive mustard-yellow glaze. The unique object is certainly eye-catching, whilst the miniature scale ensures the vase is also incredibly cute!
